Jina is highly interested in developing novel technologies that can have a direct impact on improving human health. With her expertise in bioengineering, molecular biology, and chemistry and multidisciplinary scientists with diverse backgrounds, she envisions building an intellectually rich team that can together successfully tackle very challenging medical problems. Jina is fascinated by the complexity of cancer and neurological diseases and she focuses on developing robust molecular-based diagnostics for better understanding and treatment of these diseases. Her ultimate goal is to pursue meaningful and useful research that can be translated beyond the lab and directly benefit patients. In addition to science, Jina enjoys her time traveling, learning new languages, and doing boardsports.
